One of my favourite sushi spots. Super lucky to have a spot of this quality out in Langley! I usually go for nigiri wherever I go. Akane also has really good miso soup.

This place has some of the best sushi ever! if you come here I definitely would recommend the crazy boy roll. There are also very cool avengers action figures by the door as well as avengers posters on the wall. It is honestly very cool!

Akane was a cute lunch spot to eat out in Langley. We were out for a drive and found this place impromptu close by. There was no wait right when it opened. The decor was traditional Japanese with some cute and tasteful Marvel comic decorations. The owner must be a fan because they even have collectible figures on display too! It was a touch of personality that was delightful. There was some soft music in the background and the mid day lighting added this cute charming, almost-sleepy and relaxing feel, like time had stopped and you were going to be free of stress during your meal. (Look at the photo of the tempura!) The server was really polite and friendly. He was attentive in coming to take the order and watching over for assistance (but not hovering). The food was a real delight! There was a complimentary starter which looked like a fried California roll, which when served with this sweet sauce was quite good. The tempura was DELICIOUS. It was so fresh and light and crispy, and if you weren’t sure that it was perfectly cooked, that first crunch spoke volumes! The nigiri sushi was great, large pieces, a good balance of rice, only missing the wasabi layer which was no problem. The rolls, sashimi and chicken teriyaki were also delicious. This restaurant was a pleasant drop-in surprise. A charming atmosphere, great service, tasty food, are all reasons why we wolf’s take the drive back to Langley to eat here. We will be back!

This has become mine and my stepdaughters "place". We love it here. The atmosphere is mellow and low-key cozy with a pop of action figure/superhero vibe. Just so happens the food is awesome too. I got the Nabeyaki and she got the Crazyboy, a fried California Roll, with the Miso soup. It was all so delicious. But what we really love is that we have our table, we have our tea, we chat, we interact with our gracious hosts and enjoy some great food. It just feels like you're at home. I would highly recommend you check it out!!

This place is ADORABLE!!! Not only do they have tasty sushi at great prices, they have the BEST decor!!!! A place that must be visited when cons happen again......The staff are friendly and sweet, I feel like their food is truly made with love. Highly Recommend!

Fantasticly fresh food and attentive service with a beautiful free sample! I highly recommend this sushi restaurant!

Courteous customer service and fresh quality food! It’s a small restaurant but they provide great service. While we’re waiting for our order, the server brought over a fried sushi roll and told us “it’s on the House!” Wow! Everyone in our family was impressed. After we tried the food, we realized their food is really good. We will definitely go visit again!

This place has to be the best Sushi joint in Langley. Everything here is made fresh and even the Miso soup is very good much more better than other Sushi places I been though around the lower mainland. I will most definitely come back here.
